Circle K offers 40 cents off gas for fuel day
Across northwest Florida, Circle K locations will offer 40 cents off per gallon as part of “Fuel Day.” The savings event will run between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday, May 25. Fuel Day is also taking place at Circle K locations across the United States.
According to Circle K, customers can receive the deal directly at the pump. Here are a list of participating locations in Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties:

Veterans parking spaces now at county buildings
Northwest Florida is home to quite a few veterans.
In many places, veterans can enjoy designated parking spots but at Santa Rosa County-owned facilities, the only veterans parking spots were for Purple Heart recipients. Other veterans did not have designated parking.
At least not until now.

Santa Rosa Medical Center releases stats for 2022
The Santa Rosa Medical Center has released its updated report featuring the hospital’s statistics from 2022.
According to SRMC, there were a total of 241,680 patient encounters with 48,400 ER visits, 4,800 surgeries, 4,200 inpatient admissions, 280 births and 184,000 outpatient visits, including physician clinic visits, procedures and imaging.

Rudman staying busy after first legislative session
Joel Rudman, a family physician, drove to Daytona Beach and back in a single day last week for a three-hour meeting with doctors at Halifax Medical Center, where he did his residency from 1996-1999.
It’s all part of the job of representing District 3 in the Florida House of Representatives.
