The Community Redevelopment Agency will meet at 5:30 p.m., the City of Milton’s City Council will meet in the Executive Session and as the Board of Directors of Sundial Utilities at 5:45 p.m., and The City of Milton’s City Council will meet for a Work Session at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2026, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 6738 Dixon Street. For further information on the meeting, contact the City Manager’s Office 983-5411. All meetings are open to the public.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MILTON, AMENDING A PORTION OF THE ZONING REGULATIONS AND LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, SPECIFICALLY AMENDING ARTICLE 7 - USES, SECTION 7.3 USE MATRIX, OF PART THREE OF THE CITY OF MILTON CODE OF ORDINANCES UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT CODE; PERTAINING TO THE ADDITION OF THE USE TITLED “BODY MODIFICATION ESTABLISHMENT” AS A SPECIAL EXCEPTION USE WITHIN THE DOWNTOWN COMMERCIAL MIXED-USE ZONING DISTRICT, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE D-CM ZONING DISTRICT, AS ATTACHED HERETO AND INCORPORATED HEREIN; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS OF LAW, PROVIDING FOR A TIMELINE FOR THE ADOPTION OF AN OFFICIAL ORDINANCE, IN KEEPING WITH THE PROVISIONS FOUND HEREIN, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION, SCRIVENER’S ERRORS, INCLUSION IN CODE AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Interested parties may appear at the meetings and be heard with respect to this proposed ordinance. All interested parties should take notice that if they decide to appeal any decision made by the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners with respect to any matter coming before said Board at said meeting, it is their individual responsibility to insure that a record of proceedings they are appealing exists and for such purpose they will need to insure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record shall include the testimony and the evidence upon which their appeal is to be based.
