Notice of Sale of Surplus Property
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will conduct a Sale of Surplus Property by Sealed Bid for the sale of Vacant Land on Tuesday November 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Central Time. The property Id# 06-2S-26-0000-00302-0000 and is located on SR 87 in Navarre, Santa Rosa County, FL. The bid opening will be held at the Florida Department of Transportation District Three Right of Way Office located at 1074 Hwy 90, Chipley, FL 32428. The bid opening is a public event and is available for participation to anyone. Bidders do not have to be present to participate. The successful bidder must be prepared to place a non-refundable deposit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid price within 24 hours of notification of award of bid, in the form of cashier’s check, money order or other non-cancelable instrument.
The minimum acceptable bid is $76,150 which has been established by an approved appraisal. The conveyance for this property will be by Quit Claim Deed, with oil, gas and mineral rights reserved. Buyer will be required to pay all closing cost associated with this transaction, documentary stamps and recording fees.
The Florida Department of Transportation reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Successful bidder agrees to accept property in “as is “condition. Bidder accepts all conditions specified in the bid package.
Parcel is open to public inspection with appointment.
