02/24 – Death by 5K Coldwater Creek

Death by 5K Coldwater Creek hosted by Adventures Unlimited starting at 8 a.m. Test your limits with the Death by 5K challenge. Participants are challenged to run ten 5Ks over the course of 24 hours, with each 5K starting 2 and a half hours apart. A wide assortment of food, snacks, and drinks will be available throughout the event. Visit www.deathby5k.com to learn more!

02/25 – Hand Embroidery

Hand Embroidery hosted by the Sand Dunes Chapter of Embroiderers’ Guild of America in Niceville from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Join in for the February program meeting to celebrate hand embroidery. Meetings will be held in the Religious Education Building.

02/27 – Advanced STEAM

Advanced STEAM hosted by the Pace Library from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Adults ages 18+ interested in virtual reality, AR, coding, robotics, engineering, construction, board games, crafts, and scientific experiments and exploration, are invited to stop by for special STEAM activities. This month’s theme is space.

02/27 – Vital Sign Training & Central SRC CERT Meeting

Vital Sign Training & Central SRC CERT Meeting hosted by the Santa Rosa County Health Department in Milton from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Learn how to take basic patient vital statistics. This skill is useful for triage as well as responder rehab. Class is free for Santa Rosa County residents.

03/02 – Community Chess

Community Chess hosted by the Pace Library from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Chess players of all ages, come and play chess! Knowledge of the game is recommended as no lessons will be provided. All players are expected to show good sportsmanship.

03/02 – Gulf Coast Renaissance Fair and Pirate Festival

Gulf Coast Renaissance Fair and Pirate Festival hosted at the Santa Rosa Fairgrounds in Milton from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This medieval event will feature food, drinks, merchants, jousting, entertainment, games, and more! Fee required for entry.

03/05 – Easy to Grow Wildflowers

Easy to Grow Wildflowers hosted by UF/IFAS Santa Rosa County Master Gardeners from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Learn about native Florida wildflowers that can be easily grown in your home gardens and landscapes. General admission is $10.

03/09 – Blackwater Food Truck Festival

Blackwater Food Truck Festival hosted at Jernigan’s Landing from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Come out to the Spring Milton’s Blackwater Food Truck Festival! There will be numerous food trucks, a live DJ, vendors, and a bounce house for the kids. Admission is free.

03/12 – Childbirth Prep and Newborn Care

Childbirth Prep and Newborn Care hosted by Santa Rosa Medical Center from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This free childbirth prep class will prepare you for what to expect during labor, delivery, and recovery. Labor partners are encouraged to attend. Space is limited.

03/14 – Game-O-Rama

Game-O-Rama hosted by the Jay Library from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Come play a board game or video game at the Jay Library. Bring your own or enjoy one provided by the library. Get your game on!

03/16 – Free CPR/First Aid Certification

Free CPR/First Aid Certification hosted by St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Milton from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Join in for a FREE CPR/First Aid Certification training exclusively for parents and guardians residing in Santa Rosa County. Register now! Space is limited to the first 20 participants.

03/22 – Citizen Firearm Safety Course

Citizen Firearm Safety Course hosted by Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office in Milton starting at 6 p.m. This free course is available to Santa Rosa County residents. The course is in two parts, a classroom portion on Friday and a range session on Saturday. Be sure to bring your own handgun and 25 rounds of ammunition. Registration is required.

03/23 – The Easter Bunny @ Your Library

The Easter Bunny @ Your Library hosted by your local Library from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. The Easter Bunny will be making a special visit to the library to hand out eggs! Make sure to stop by and see him on the following dates:

March 27: Pace Library

Every Monday – Line Dancing

Join in every Monday for Line Dancing hosted by the Clyde L. Gracey Community Center in Milton from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Learn the modern county and western dance steps while meeting new people and getting some exercise at the same time!

Every Thursday – The Market of Milton

The Market of Milton is hosted every Thursday evening at Jernigan’s Landing from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Eat and shop local at this fun-filled market featuring local farmers, vendors, artists, crafters, bakers, and more!
