A longtime Milton restaurant has closed its doors.

Santa Rosa Medical Group has opened an urgent care to provide residents in Pace access to a medical facility seven days a week.

Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce held the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, Oct. 8 and the healthcare providers at the location had the honor of cutting the ribbon with a large pair of gold-colored scissors.

Casey’s General Stores announced in a press release on July 26 that it is purchasing Fikes Wholesale, which owns 198 CEFCO Convenience stores.

All Badcock Home Furniture and More stores are closing, including the Pace and Milton locations. A staple of the East Milton food scene is back for summer. Gator’s Seafood, which has been serving customers since 1975 at its 4030 Farrington Road location, reopened its doors Friday, June 7. The restaurant operates seasonally, opening each June and closing in late summer.

With summer upon us, more and more tourists are flocking to Navarre Beach and the rest of Santa Rosa County to soak up the sun’s rays and find new adventures.
