Mondelez International, Inc. broke ground on April 23 in Milton’s I-10 Industrial Park. According to Mondelez officials, this new distribution location will distribute cookies and crackers like Oreos and Wheat Thins.
According to a University of Florida study, by 2040, Florida’s developed land is projected to increase by roughly 17.5% of the state’s total land area. But there are groups working together to preserve as much land as possible.
Tensions were high at the April 8 Milton City Council meeting after they received another delay in their wastewater treatment plant. On March 27, the county tabled the city’s request for a conditional use permit for the city’s planned wastewater treatment plant. The city is trying to fast-track this project, but now they have hit another proverbial bump in the road.
Today, the Pace Library celebrated the grand opening of its new meeting room with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, joined by the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners, county staff, the Friends of the Pace Library, and members of the community. The new space is located at 4750 Pace Patriot Blvd., in Pace.
