Where’s the line on banning books in Santa Rosa Schools?

That question was asked to school board district 4 candidates Angie Straughn and Charles Elliott during the July 24 forum organized by the Navarre Chamber at East Bay K8 School.

The forum, organized by the Navarre Chamber of Commerce, featured district 2 Santa Rosa School Board candidates Mariya Calkins and Oscar Locklin. Incumbent Elizabeth Hewey was not at the forum.

Lane closures on Chumuckla Highway and Pace Road will begin on Monday, July 29, through Wednesday, July 31, to install cross-drains. Installation is part of a project to add turn lanes on Chumuckla Highway and Pace Road. Both lane closures will happen near the roadway intersection. Work will be performed between 6 p.m. – 6 a.m.
