Santa Rosa County students champs at FCDI State Championship tournament
Over 650 students from all across the state of Florida competed April 20. The competition featured multiple rounds and was about 15 hours in total. Collectively, Santa Rosa County students at the competition brought home lots of hardware, including several students who earned top three finishes in categories such as duo interpretation, congressional debate. Oral interpretation, and varsity public forum debate.

Santa Rosa Elementary schools face off in ‘Battle of the Books’
Elementary students from 16 schools across Santa Rosa County gathered at the Santa Rosa County Auditorium in Milton on April 26 for “Battle of the Books.” Each school was represented by a team of five students.

Construction Career Days offers students hands-on experience

On April 16 and 17, students from Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton counties were given the opportunity to go to Milton to take part in Northwest Florida Construction Career Days.

In the annual rankings released on March 27, 2024, UWF ranked No. 5 and was the only Florida State University System institution to earn recognition from Military Friendly® in the large public Top Ten category.

Central School hosts agricultural community event
