Now his senior season with the Royals is ahead and his college commitment is already squared away as he signed with Pensacola State in November.

This season has not been an easy one, filled with ups and downs, but here on a sun-splashed Saturday in Pace, the Panthers had good reason to celebrate.

The District 1-3A girls weightlifting meet is set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Pace.
It was originally scheduled for Wednesday but had to be moved due to the historic snowstorm that hit Northwest Florida this week.

She’s hoping to make another run at it this year and has put in extra work outside of school to help that cause.
