Navarre’s swim team is holding an open water swim as a fundraising event Sept. 15.


The Raiders will host the event from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. off the beach at Juana’s Pagodas.

Milton and Pace  competed at the Choctaw Freestyle Invitational Aug. 24, taking third and fourth, respectively, in the overall team standings. A total of eight teams competed at the meet.

Friday night was nothing new for Pace, which survived nail-biter in overtime, prevailing 17-14 over Mary G Montgomery in a tightly contested season opener.

Jay hit the road Friday to kick off the 2024 season against Vernon and dominated Yellowjackets 34-0.
