The Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners will consider proposed large-scale future land use amendments to almost 900 acres of property in Milton and Pace at its special rezoning meeting Thursday, Dec. 14.
Shari Sebastiao will again represent Ward 4, Seat 1 on the Milton City Council. The council on Tuesday voted 5-2 to appoint her to the position she lost to Jason Vance in the 2022 election. Vance and his family moved outside the city’s limits, vacating the Ward 4, Seat 1 position.
Tractor Supply Co. is coming to Woodbine Road in Pace. The Santa Rosa County Development Services Department on Nov. 28 approved a site plan for a 21,930-square-foot building to be built on about three acres of an 18.55-acre parcel at 5516 Woodbine Road, south of the intersection of Woodbine with Quintette Road and Chumuckla Highway.
Santa Rosa County District Schools has announced its recognition as an A-rated school district for the 2022-23 school year, according to the recently released Informational Baseline School Grades and District Grades by the Florida Department of Education.
