Road to nowhere?
There is a road being built at the end of Ibis Road in Milton’s Avalon Park as part of Maikaira Ridge subdivision that will lead to, well, nowhere. There is a decadeslong history of the property and the road beginning in 1994 that residents of Ibis Road hope the commissioners will uphold.

Rudman exits board amid confirmation troubles
(By Jim Turner of the News Service of Florida) Former Rep. Joel Rudman became the third appointee of Gov. Ron DeSantis to resign this month from a Northwest Florida college or university board of trustees while awaiting Senate confirmation.
Meanwhile, the Senate Ethics and Elections Committee on Tuesday refused to back another DeSantis appointee, University of West Florida trustee Adam Kissel.
