Bethel Baptist is often called the beacon on the hill. The church is located on a high point of Old Bagdad Highway, but it also has functioned as a beacon of light that has drawn in members from all walks of life for decades.

Over the past five years Bearing Fruit Community Church has seen trials and tribulations, but through it all the congregation and leadership has learned to grow and overcome.

Albert Marion Chambers Jr., who was lovingly known as Junior, died at the age of 79-years-old on Nov. 14. He was a Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran and touched many lives by serving as the founding pastor of Joy Bible Baptist Church.

Paul and his wife Vivian Malson are the pastors of Hope Church, which resides at the former Moors Golf Course located on Avalon Blvd since 2015.

They have been pastors for 40 years, but rather than focus on growing a big church, they let God worry about that and put their efforts into ministry.

A Milton veteran was drafted into service for the Vietnam War. His goal now is to make sure that no veteran coming home is treated the way he and his fellow service members were.

The Faith Baptist Church in Milton was founded nearly 180 years ago and their nonprofit, Helping Hand Missions began in 1987. Their mission is to honor the Lord Jesus Christ by helping the helpless, healing the hurting, and providing hope for the hopeless.
