TO ADOPT REVISIONS TO
SANTA ROSA DISTRICT SCHOOLS
2026 – 2027 SCHOOL CHOICE PLAN
Pursuant to Chapter 120, Florida Statutes, the Santa Rosa County School
Board will hold a public hearing to consider the revisions, additions and deletions
to the 2025-2026 School Choice Plan in preparation for the 2026 – 2027
school year’s School Choice Plan. The purpose of these changes is to update
the existing School Choice Plan in accordance with legislative and State
Board of Education Regulations. The public hearing is scheduled for April 2,
2026 at 5:30 PM in the Santa Rosa County School Board Room at 5086 Canal
Street, Milton, Florida.
Copies of proposed revisions, additions and deletions for the 2026 – 2027
School Choice Plan will be available for study and examination at the Douglas
A. Dillon Administrative Center in Milton, Florida from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM,
Monday through Friday, February 26, 2026 through April 2, 2026.

"LEPC Public Notice of the Availability of Hazardous Materials Information
The Emerald Coast Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) receives certain hazardous materials information reported by facilities under the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act of 1986 (EPCRA); and makes it available to the public by request as required under the law.
Information which may have been reported to LEPC: Chemical Inventories from facilities that have hazardous materials above certain quantities, safety data sheets containing information on a materials’ properties and health hazards, and emergency release notifications and written follow-up letters if a release exceeded reportable quantities.
The above information, except for certain information authorized under EPCRA to be withheld, is available to the public under the Right to Know provisions of EPCRA to help inform community and personal planning for hazardous materials releases.
The Emerald Coast LEPC serves Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Holmes, Washington, and Bay counties in Northwest Florida.
