It’s official: The Pea Ridge Connector legally will be known as…Pea Ridge Connector Road.

The feud between Milton City Manager Randy Jorgenson and Milton Concerned Citizens escalated at a city council meeting last week, leading Mayor Pro Tem Casey Powell to adjourn the meeting early.

Members of the political action committee, angered by Jorgenson’s Oct. 11 attack on MCC’s opposition to a proposed wastewater treatment plant site, publicly shared evidence of Jorgenson’s criminal history, claimed that he had committed several violations of the city’s code of conduct, and asked him to resign.

Garrett Lee Seimer, 22, is wanted for two counts of Burglary of a dwelling or structure or Conveyance armed, burglary of an unoccupied conveyance unarmed, larceny grand theft of a firearm, larceny, and damaged property with criminal mischief.

Santa Rosa County officials on Tues., Mar. 1, honored former County Commissioner Don Salter by naming a street that leads into the new Whiting Aviation Park after him. About 75 people were in attendance when the street sign labeled Don Salter Boulevard was unveiled by Salter and his family. Several people, including Salter, spoke at the event.
