Two Milton softball players signed their letters of intent last week. Kamille Lucas is headed to NAIA Florida Memorial in Miami Gardens and Audrey Luedtke is bound for NCAA Division II Anderson in South Carolina. Both signed during a ceremony at Milton’s softball field last Wednesday night.

Before the season began first-year Pace head coach Richard Carroll worked out a schedule that would challenge his team. He had good reason to take that approach after the team showed signs of promise during a 6-8-1 season in 2021. Kamille Lucas jokes that it sometimes feels as if she doesn’t even have time to sit down. And really, to describe her as busy is an understatement. Between volleyball, travel softball, high school softball and going to school, her schedule is pretty full.
