No dancing around the topic. Pace has a chip on its shoulder going into the 2024 football season.


And for good reason.

Raymond Cottrell will be a familiar face on the University of West Florida football team this fall.

Pace’s flag football team had its best season in program history this past season, making it to the state final four for the first time.


But the work didn’t stop once the season ended. The Patriots spent June and July on the field sharpening their skills.

Milton’s softball team had an opportunity to get some work in earlier this summer, and while finding time to do it requires working around crazy travel ball schedules, the time spent on the high school field is worth it.

While Pace joins Navarre, Tate and Crestview in District 1-6A, Milton drops down to District 1-5A while Jay and Central, a first-year varsity program, will be in the rural classification.
