Pace’s beach volleyball team will begin district tournament play Tuesday in Fort Walton Beach.


The Patriots take on Arnold in a 1 p.m. District 1-2A quarterfinal match at the Fort Walton Beach Recreation Center.

Joe Mack is the Southern League Player of the Week for the week of April 7-13.

Pace’s flag football team begins its quest to return to state when it hosts Bartram Trail in a Region 1-3A opener at home.


Game time is 6 p.m. against the Bears.

Pace’s boys track team won the District 1-3A championship last Thursday at Pine Forest while the girls team finished third.


Milton also competed at the meet and had one district champion in Hattie Lee, who won the 400 hurdles in a time of 1:07.87.

Jay, Pace, Milton and Central have all made the regional playoffs in baseball.

Pace, Jay and Central were all in action this past week on the softball field.
