Milton Panthers come up short in homecoming game
With just under nine minutes to play in the opening half of a Sept. 30 homecoming game against Mosley, the Milton Panthers had new life.
Cade Pierce found Bryson Brown in the end zone. Brown, a state champion weightlifter and big time playmaker, came down with the ball, helping Milton slice the Dolphins’ lead to 14-7.

Amy Wolfenden’s impact evident at swim meet named in her honor
Pace senior Belle McNally said she was ‘trying not to cry’ as she talked about Amy Wolfenden, the former Patriot boys swim coach who passed away in May at the age of 50 while competing in a triathlon.
McNally met Wolfenden at a young age and couldn’t say enough good about how meaningful it was to see the Pace Patriot Invitational get rededicated as the Wolfenden Memorial Invitational on Sept. 28.
