The Panthers, though, have made strides of their own over its first three seasons of high school lacrosse, and they take a few more steps forward in their matchup with the Seahawks on a sunny Saturday afternoon in late February at Hurley Manning field.

Jackson McDonald was the lone winner for the Panthers as he took first in the pole vault with a height of 12-feet-2 3/4 inches.

Rylee Henderson was one of four Pace athletes to take home a first-place finish at Saturday’s Wildcat Invitational in Pensacola.
Henderson came through with a throw of 110 feet to win the discus.

Holland Tauscher made the most of her opportunity last Tuesday night at the Ashton Brosnaham Complex in Pensacola at the Pensacola Sports Association All-Star Soccer Game.
Tauscher, a senior standout from Pace, scored twice to help the East beat the West 5-1 in a game featuring top seniors from Escambia, Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties.

Milton focused on gaining experience as new baseball season begins
Eleven seniors were on Milton’s baseball roster a season ago, and only one player is back that appeared in all 28 games as a starter for the Panthers during their 18-10 campaign.
Still, that doesn’t mean the cupboard is bare for Milton, which is hoping the younger players who maybe didn’t play as much will use the experience and knowledge they gained in 2021 to their advantage.
