Patriots shine at Wildcat Invitational
Pace’s cross-country teams dominated the Wildcat Invitational Saturday morning at the Pensacola State-Milton campus.
The Patriots won both meets, with Gavin Schulte winning the race with a time of 17:10.9. He was one of three Pace runners on the boys side that finished in the top 10.
Pace, Milton fare well at Patriot Invitational
Pace’s girls and boys swim teams placed third at the Patriot Invitational Saturday at the UWF Natatorium.
Josephine Harris won two events for Pace, taking first in the 100 Butterfly (1:04.96) and 500 Freestyle (5:44.63) while Belle McNally won the 100 Breaststroke (1:17.11).

Pace’s unbeaten start to the season came to a halt Friday night as Pace fell 29-21 to Crestview at Jack Foster Stadium.
The Patriots led 21-15 at the half but the Bulldogs did not allow another score after halftime. Two Crestview touchdowns in the second half proved to be the difference.

Gavin Schulte needed a few minutes before doing a post-race interview with a reporter after the Patriot Invitational a couple of weeks ago.
The allergies had gotten the best of the Pace senior because of the grass and pollen, and he went to get his inhaler moments after crossing the finish line in seventh place with a time of 17:20.70.
Patriots stay unbeaten with win over Jaguars
On Friday night, the Pace Patriots continued their winning streak, improving to 3-0 with a 42-14 win over the West Florida Jaguars after a rain delay of almost two hours.
The Patriots started out strong with Nick Simmons slipping through the holes in West Florida’s defense for a 7-0 lead.
