Hodges earns scholar-athlete recognition
Milton grad Kelsey Hodges is one of eight University of West Florida softball players to earn Scholar-Athlete recognition from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
Hodges sports a 3.68 GPA and is majoring in athletic training. She started 17 games last season for the Argos.

Former University of West Florida wide receiver Quentin Randolph has been rewarded for his success in his first season in the Indoor Football League.

The University of West Florida football team is picked to finish second in the Gulf South Conference preseason poll.
The Argos were crowned conference champions for the first time in program history a year ago, sharing the title with Valdosta State, the favorite to win the GSC title.
Sproat returning to Florida Gators
It’s back to school for Brandon Sproat.
Drafted by the New York Mets in the third round of the Major League Baseball Draft last month, the Pace alum has opted to pass on pro baseball for now and return to the Florida Gators for another season.
