Pace’s Jordan Stull swimming in the lane of success
Jordan Stull cruises to a win in the 50 Freestyle on a hot Wednesday afternoon in Milton.
It’s business as usual for the Pace junior here at the Gospels Project Pool, with Stull further establishing herself as one of the top swimmers in the area and is pleased with where things stand with a little over a month left in the season.
Area runners compete at EscaRosa Meet
Gavin Schulte turned in the best performance of his career Saturday morning at the EscaRosa Championship in Pensacola.
Schulte navigated the course at Osceola in a time of 16:45.30 as he finished second overall. His effort helped the Patriots finish second as a team at the meet.
New location set for state weightlifting meets
State weightlifting is headed to Lakeland in 2023.
Already the host site for the girls and boys state basketball tournaments, the RP Funding Center will also be the host arena for the girls and boys state weightlifting meets through at least the year 2025.
Patriots have solid showing in pair of matches last week
The Pace girls golf team played two matches this week, including one on Thursday at Stonebrook, its home course.
The Patriots finished third in a three-team match that also featured Gulf Breeze and Tate, shooting a 192.
Golf Roundup: Duvall, Jackson lead Patriots in tri-match
Braden Duvall shot a 40 to lead the way for Pace in a tri-match with Milton and Gulf Breeze on Thursday afternoon at Tiger Point.
On a hot and humid afternoon on the course, Duvall took charge for the Patriots and shot the third best score of the day overall.
Patriots shine at Wildcat Invitational
Pace’s cross-country teams dominated the Wildcat Invitational Saturday morning at the Pensacola State-Milton campus.
The Patriots won both meets, with Gavin Schulte winning the race with a time of 17:10.9. He was one of three Pace runners on the boys side that finished in the top 10.
Pace, Milton fare well at Patriot Invitational
Pace’s girls and boys swim teams placed third at the Patriot Invitational Saturday at the UWF Natatorium.
Josephine Harris won two events for Pace, taking first in the 100 Butterfly (1:04.96) and 500 Freestyle (5:44.63) while Belle McNally won the 100 Breaststroke (1:17.11).
Confidence, teamwork, fuel turnaround season for Royals
Jay’s volleyball team won only six matches a year ago. But there is a turnaround unfolding here for the Royals as they have already surpassed last season’s victory total.
Through the first nine games, Jay is 7-2 and feeling good about where it’s at as a team despite a tough, five-set loss to Milton last week.
Panthers bring energy and effort in latest road match
