Triumph Gulf Coast: “efficiency and effectiveness”
It’s almost impossible to understand it if you weren’t here then.
One April morning in 2010 the Gulf of Mexico exploded. Hundreds of millions of gallons of oil roared up out of an undersea volcano and smeared across 70,000 miles of ocean.
It’s 10:44 p.m. on a Sunday night in the middle of July. Five picks remain in the second round of the MLB Draft. Pace’s Walter Ford has yet to be selected.
He went into the draft as the 53rd best prospect, which in the baseball world, doesn’t mean a thing.
For God’s Sake: Butter tarts and the Bible have something in common
In my life, butter tarts and the Bible have something in common.
What is a butter tart? A butter tart is a buttery, sugary, distinctly Canadian dessert, like a pecan pie, only better. What does a butter tart have in common with the Bible?

Milton council gambling taxpayer
money on longshot solution
Well, they’re going to try. The Milton City Council is gambling $100,000 from reserves – taxpayers’ money – that it can stop the state from widening Caroline Street through the historic district.
The council voted 6-2 to advertise for bids on a study to determine alternatives to a Florida Department of Transportation plan to widen U.S. Highway 98 – Caroline Street – from two to four lanes between Stewart Street and Ward Basin Road.
Out and About
The truth is our currency: We must know the truth to make good decisions. The same is true for our community – they must know the truth.
This is our first core value for our organization and foundational to the remainder of our core values, one of which is personal responsibility.
