For God’s Sake: Preach the truth
Some three decades ago, when I entered full-time Christian ministry, it occurred to me that I was entering a field that, at its foundation, is unchanging.
It was comforting to know that the God I serve, the God of the Bible, is unchanging. Who He is, He has always been and always will be.
Milton council gambling taxpayer
money on longshot solution
Well, they’re going to try. The Milton City Council is gambling $100,000 from reserves – taxpayers’ money – that it can stop the state from widening Caroline Street through the historic district.
The council voted 6-2 to advertise for bids on a study to determine alternatives to a Florida Department of Transportation plan to widen U.S. Highway 98 – Caroline Street – from two to four lanes between Stewart Street and Ward Basin Road.

The truth is our currency: We must know the truth to make good decisions. The same is true for our community – they must know the truth.

For God’s Sake: Starting a church like establishing a new community
One of the benefits for a pastor in starting a new church is implementing ministry essentials that pastors often only get to dream about.
You are largely starting with a blank slate with none of the difficult baggage leftover from a congregation’s history, at least in theory.
The Amazon effect
You know the math. Most of the money spent in Navarre stays in Navarre. It really is that simple.
When you shop locally, you’re really getting cash back in the form of lower taxes.
