Wright: ‘tough decisions to make’ about utilities’ future
The Milton City Council last week unanimously passed a resolution opposing the original draft of House Bill 1485, which would create a regional utilities authority, one day after Santa Rosa County Commissioner Colten Wright said the county is considering changes to its franchise agreements.

The Florida House of Representatives on Wednesday unanimously passed the Cassie Carli Law, sponsored by Rep. Dr. Joel Rudman, R-Navarre. The bill would protect at-risk parents in child custody exchanges.
