Both vests were sponsored by Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. and embroidered with the sentiment “Honoring those who served and sacrificed”.

Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla. —  According to the Department of Defense, there are more than 1.6 million military-connected children who ultimately face many unique experiences because of their parent’s or parents’ service. To honor these individuals, the DoD designates the month of April as Month of the Military Child.
