Know your no’s for recycling
Santa Rosa County Environmental staff have noticed an increase in recycling and recycling contamination in the form of holiday lights, electrical cords, inflatables, and garlands (also known as tanglers). Staff would like to encourage residents to “Know Your No’s” when it comes to unacceptable recyclable materials.

Crestview, other Panhandle cities have lowest gas prices in state, AAA report says
A new report from AAA says that Northwest Florida has some of the least expensive gas prices in the sunshine state.
According to the report, Crestview-Fort Walton Beach at $2.89, Pensacola and Panama City, each at $2.92, were the least expensive metro markets in the state.
Overall, Florida gas prices declined 12 cents per gallon last week. The state average is now on a 31 day streak of declines, falling a total of 41 cents per gallon.

Roundabout approved for Luther Fowler Road
Jubilee finally had a decision go its way — barely.
The Santa Rosa County Commission voted 3-2 Thursday to approve Jubilee owner Ron Reeser’s request to build a traffic circle — a roundabout — at the almost 90-degree bend in Luther Fowler Road northeast of Pace.

Milton man arrested on state, federal charges relating to child molestation
A Milton man and former preacher is in Santa Rosa County Jail for illicit sexual acts with minors.
Jason Robert Moore, 42, of the 1100 block of Adrian Way in Milton, was arrested by agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and Homeland Security Investigations following an investigation involving child sex abuse.
