To Consider a Petition to Establish
Parkland Community Development District

In compliance with the provisions of Chapter 190, Florida Statutes, a public hearing will be held by the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners on the 26th day of May, 2022 at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard at the Board Room, Santa Rosa County Administrative Center, 6495 Caroline Street, Milton, Florida 32570, to consider a petition to establish the Parkland Community Development District. The proposed Parkland Community Development District is comprised of 319.21 acres, generally located north of Berryhill Road, east of Luther Fowler Road, south of Willard Norris Road, and west of Anderson Lane. The petitioner has proposed to establish the Parkland Community Development District to plan, finance, acquire, construct, operate and maintain infrastructure and community facilities which may be authorized by such district under Florida law, including but not limited to: roadway improvements, stormwater management, water and sewer improvements, amenity improvements, hardscaping, landscaping and irrigation improvements, and other infrastructure. This is not a rezoning or comprehensive plan change.
A copy of the petition is open to public inspection at the Santa Rosa County Attorney’s Office, 6495 Caroline Street, Suite C, Milton, Florida 32570, (850) 983-1877.
All interested persons and affected units of general-purpose government shall be given an opportunity to appear at the hearing and present oral or written comments on the petition. Any persons or affected unit of general-purpose local government, who wish to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter considered at this public hearing will need a record of the proceedings. For that purpose, the person or unit of general-purpose local government may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made that includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
Santa Rosa County adheres to the Americans with Disabilities Act and will make reasonable modifications and accommodations for access to the hearing upon request. The School Board of Santa Rosa County, Florida, hereby gives notice that it will conduct a public Workshop regarding Capital Outlay Budget and School Board Policies on May 12, 2022, at Canal Street Offices, 5086 Canal Street, Milton, FL 32570 at 5:00 pm.

The School Board of Santa Rosa County, Florida, will also conduct a public Board meeting on May 12, 2022, at Canal Street Offices, 5086 Canal Street, Milton, FL 32570 at 6:30 pm.
The public can participate by attending the meetings in-person or by watching the meetings via-live stream at http://santarosacountysdfl.swagit.com/live. Those desiring to provide public comment may do so in-person or by submitting comments, physical evidence, or other evidence to the following email address DOC@santarosa.k12.fl.us, and placing “Public Comment” in the subject line of the email message, or by mailing comments or evidence to Superintendent Dr. Karen Barber at 6032 Hwy. 90, Milton Fl 32570. The Santa Rosa County Zoning Board and Board of County Commissioners will conduct public hearings to consider a change of land use and/or rezoning of land areas depicted on the maps within this advertisement. The hearings are scheduled as follows:

The proposed ordinance and map may be inspected by the public prior to the above scheduled meetings at the Santa Rosa County Planning Department, 6051 Old Bagdad Highway, Milton, Florida. The agenda and backup documentation will be available via the Meetings & Agendas Page of the County’s website at www.santarosa.fl.gov approximately 1 week prior to each scheduled meeting. Interested parties may appear at the meetings and be heard with respect to this proposed ordinance. All interested parties should take notice that if they decide to appeal any decision made by the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners with respect to any matter coming before said Board at said meeting, it is their individual responsibility to insure that a record of proceedings they are appealing exists and for such purpose they will need to insure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record shall include the testimony and the evidence upon which their appeal is to be based.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TO ADOPT REVISIONS TO
SANTA ROSA DISTRICT SCHOOLS

2022 – 2023 SCHOOL CHOICE PLAN

Pursuant to Chapter 120, Florida Statutes, the Santa Rosa County School Board will hold a public hearing to consider the revisions, additions and deletions to the 2021-2022 School Choice Plan in preparation for the 2022 – 2023 school year’s School Choice Plan. The purpose of these changes is to update the existing School Choice Plan in accordance with legislative and State Board of Education Regulations. The public hearing is scheduled for May 12, 2022 at 6:30 PM in the Santa Rosa County School Board Room at 5086 Canal Street, Milton, Florida.

Copies of proposed revisions, additions and deletions for the 2022 – 2023 School Choice Plan will be available for study and examination at the Douglas A. Dillon Administrative Center in Milton, Florida from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, April 8, 2022 through May 11, 2022.

East Bay Cross Drain Replacement
Notice is hereby given that the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids from qualified, licensed, and fully insured General Contractor or Underground Contractors for the East Bay Cross Drain Replacement.
All bids must be in writing and delivered by hand, overnight courier service, or U.S. Mail to the Santa Rosa County Procurement Department, 6495 Caroline Street, Suite M, Milton, Florida 32570, and must be received by 10:00 A.M. on May 23, 2022 at which time will be publicly opened. Only bids received by the afore stated time and date will be considered. E-mailed proposal responses will be rejected. All bids shall be sealed and clearly labeled, “ITB 22-030 East Bay Cross Drain Replacement”. Please provide the original proposal, labeled “ORIGINAL” and one (1) electronic file in OCR (readable) PDF format.
