STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE PERMIT The Department of Environmental Protection gives notice of its intent to issue a permit to Santa Rosa County, 6051 Old Bagdad Highway, Suite 301, Milton, Florida 32583 to construct and operate a Distributed Wastewater Treatment System (DWTS) for the Baxley Point Subdivision with a build out of 607 single-family homes. The DWTS is made up of Distributed Wastewater Treatment Unit (DWTU), and each DWTU is a package Sequencing Batch Reactor Treatment Unit designed to process domestic wastewater flows up to 800 GPD. Every lot will contain a DWTU and each DWTU will land apply reclaimed water to a subsurface drainfield. The facility will be located approximately at latitude 30o 40' 30. 4" N, longitude 87o 02' 25. 7" W near 6600 Baxley Road, Milton, Florida 32570 in Santa Rosa County. The Department has assigned permit file number FLAB07404-002-DW2T to the proposed project.
