Pace is headed to the Region 1-2A flag football tournament for the third consecutive season.


Its opponent is a familiar one as the Patriots will host Niceville in a 7 p.m. quarterfinal game on Thursday.

A new stadium is in the works for the University of West Florida football team.

Jackson McKenzie has played in 10 games for Mississippi State’s baseball team. The 2023 Pace grad has come through with three hits and driven in a run for the Bulldogs.

Milton’s baseball team had been playing well heading into its matchup with West Florida Tech last Tuesday night at Blue Wahoos Stadium in Pensacola.


The Panthers had won six of seven prior to that game, but one bad inning proved costly against the Jaguars in an 11-1 loss.

Monday night baseball might be one of the most dreaded things for a high school baseball team.


Yet for Pace, which has been one of the hottest teams in the area, it found a way to survive on a night that is never easy to play on, especially away from home.

Pace’s softball team remains the No. 1 team in the region in 6A while Milton has moved up to fourth in the region this week.
