Gongwer ready for next chapter of flag football career

Lucy Gongwer fell in love with flag football before she went on to become a standout in the sport for the Pace Patriots.
It was during her eighth-grade year that her passion for the sport was forged. She watched a practice one day and eventually attended a camp that the team held.
Dickerson gears up for flag football at collegiate level

Ashten Dickerson has been around football her entire life. Not a surprise, really, considering her dad is a football coach at the University of West Florida.
So it’s only fitting that Dickerson decided to play flag football in high school for the Pace Patriots, and it’s only fitting that she’ll now continue her career at Florida Gateway College.

Gators punch ticket to finals of College World Series

The Florida Gators are headed to the finals of the College World Series after dispatching of TCU 3-2 Wednesday afternoon in Omaha.
Pace alum Brandon Sproat is part of the pitching staff for the Gators, who will play in the final round for the fourth time in program history and are seeking their first title since 2017.

McCranie earns MVP honors at state all-star game

Pace baseball standout Alex McCranie was named the MVP of the North in the Florida Athletic Coaches Association All-Star Baseball Game in Lakeland on Tuesday.
McCranie, bound for Northwest Florida State to continue his career, racked up four hits, including a double, and also stole three bases to fuel his MVP performance.
