Milton’s Gabi Wright capped her high school golf career with a strong showing at the Region 1-3A tournament last Monday at Hawkstone Golf and Country Club in Gainesville.

Wright came through with an 81 in what was her fourth consecutive appearance at a regional tournament.

Jacob Delgado had the best finish among area teams competing at the District 1-1A cross-country meet last Monday at St. Joseph’s Bay Country Club in Port St. Joe.

Delgado finished 10th in a time of 18:17.84. L.E.A.D. Academy finishes seventh as a team. Jay was sixth.

Milton’s cross-country teams competed at the District 1-3A meet last Wednesday morning at Twin Oaks Park in Fort Walton Beach.

The Panther boys were seventh overall, with Christian Clement leading the way with a time of 18:41.60, good enough for 44th.
