In collaboration with the Office of the Medical Examiner, the agency determined the proximate cause of death to be fentanyl toxicity.
SRSO investigators concluded Robinson sold the victim a pill containing fentanyl approximately 30 minutes prior to the individual’s fatal overdose. After consulting with the Office of the State Attorney, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Robinson in connection with this incident.
Robinson is currently being held in Santa Rosa County Jail without bond.
“The SRSO remains committed to safeguarding our community and preventing further harm caused by the dangerous presence of fentanyl,” said Christi Cole, SRSO public information officer.
