Milton to unveil J.B. Turner School historic marker

The City of Milton will unveil a historic marker honoring the legacy of the J.B. Turner School, the first public school in Santa Rosa County for African-American students. A dedication ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, at the intersection of Mary and West Walker streets.
