NOTICE OF DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT AMENDMENT
This letter serves as notice that the City of Milton has received an official request from Streetside Retail, the authorized development company proposing to construct a commercial project with multiple tenants on the properties shown below. This request, if approved, would modify the existing development agreement that was approved by the Milton City Council in April 2022. Specifically, the development agreement amendment has two parts:
1. Modify the layout of the buildings on the property to remove the approved building with a retail/coffee use, and to add a standalone food service business with a drive-thru facility in the middle of the property between the previously approved medical business and dental business.
2. Modify the finishing material of the proposed 8-foot-tall buffer wall on the west property line from a stucco finish to a painted finish of the block wall that will complement the surrounding landscaping to be installed.
All other aspects of the project are proposed by the developer to remain unchanged. This property, otherwise known by the following Parcel Numbers, is shown on the map below:
Parcels 282N280000032460000, 282N280000032450000, and 282N280000032000000
You are receiving this notice to inform you that the Milton City Council will review the request and receive input from the public at the Committee of the Whole meeting on Thursday, February 23, 2023. If the proposed amendment is approved at that meeting, the council will review the request further at their Executive Committee meeting on March 6, 2023, and a public hearing would be held at the regular City Council meeting on March 14, 2023. All three meetings would take place at 5:30 PM on their respective days in the Council Chambers at Milton City Hall, 6738 Dixon Street.
Copies of the proposed Development Agreement amendment are available for public inspection in the Planning & Development Department at City Hall from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Pursuant to the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person requiring special accommodations to participate in these meetings is asked to advise the City at least 48 hours before the meeting by calling City Hall at (850) 983-5440.
