Sept. 3, 2025, the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office received a call for service from a group who track, and report suspected online predators.

Deputies responded to the location and contacted the subject, identified as Jordyn Miller, 30, a contracted cafeteria employee through Chartwell’s Food Services, a vendor for the Santa Rosa County District Schools. During the deputies’ initial contact, Miller voluntarily disclosed that he possessed images of child sexual abuse material on his cell phone.

Further investigation revealed Miller also had an active arrest warrant for Indecent Exposure, a misdemeanor, issued by the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office. Miller was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Santa Rosa County Jail in connection with the warrant.

Following the arrest, the Major Crimes Unit responded to the detention facility and assumed control of the ongoing investigation. Miller’s electronic devices were seized and are awaiting forensic analysis.

Additional charges related to internet crimes against children are pending as the investigation continues.

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to the safety of our children and the integrity of our schools and community. Since January 2025, the SRSO’s Major Crime Unit opened 340 investigations and executed 21 residential search warrants related to internet crimes against children.

“We take all allegations involving child exploitation seriously and continue to work closely with our community and law enforcement partners,” said Christi Cole, public information officer for the agency.
