Jay and Laurel Hill girls’ basketball teams met on Friday night at Jay for a chance to advance to the Rural Region 1 final.
It marked back-to-back weeks in which the Royals and the Hoboes matched up in a tournament game, and both games yielded the same result as the top-seeded Royals came away with a 55-36 win to keep their season alive.
