The National Hurricane Center published its final update of the day at 10 p.m., with little change in the projected path for Tropical Storm Helene.

The 4 p.m. update from the National Hurricane Center on Tropical Storm Helene showed little change in the expected path of the storm, which is still trending toward Florida’s “big bend.”

Santa Rosa County District Schools said that schools will be on a normal schedule Wednesday, as the system continues to monitor Tropical Storm Helene.

Santa Rosa County has announced locations where sand is available in preparation for a possible tropical storm or hurricane later this week.

The forecast cone is currently east of Santa Rosa County, with projected landfall in the area of Apalachicola, near Florida’s big bend.
