Meredith Sowell, a member of the Pace High School Class of 2013, knew as a teen she wanted to own her own bakery. She began living that dream in December, when she opened The Makery Bake Shop at 4857 West Spencer Field Road.
Chef Meredith Sowell opened The Makery Bake Shop in Pace in December. Customers can ‘make’ their own cupcakes at the shop’s cupcake bar or choose from a variety of baked treats.
