With new laws on the books, how do fire assessments look this fall in Santa Rosa County?

Each year, residents of various fire districts pay fire assessments, which help finance and equip fire districts with the tools they need to do their jobs. While these rates often fluctuate in small degrees, this year some fire districts’ assessment rates are significantly changing due to bills signed into law last legislative session.
