STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE PERMIT The Department of Environmental Protection gives notice of its intent to issue a permit to Toro Real Estate Partners, John Cohen, 410 Jericho Turnpike, Suite 220, Jericho, Florida 11753 to construct and operate a 0.030 MGD domestic wastewater treatment facility for the proposed Hickory Hammocks Subdivision located at latitude 30o 35' 24.19"N, longitude 86o 58' 7.43" W on Hickory Hammock Rd, Milton, Florida 32583 in Santa Rosa County, which would land apply 0.030 MGD of reclaimed water to a slow-rate restricted public access (subsurface) system. The facility will provide secondary treatment with basic level disinfection for the 103 individual residential-lot Septic Tank Effluent Pump (STEP) systems acting as a preliminary treatment vault by removing solids before discharging influent to the low-pressure sewer system through a grinder pump to the wastewater treatment facility. The Department has assigned permit file number FLAB07480-002-DW3P to the proposed project. The intent to issue and application file are available for public inspection during normal business hours, 8:00 a. m. to 5:00 p. m. , Monday through Friday, except legal holidays, at the Department's Northwest District Office, 160 W.
