Former drug addicts and convicts are often left to fend for themselves, but at the United Congregation of Yahweh in Milton, they are welcomed with open hearts and open arms.
Pastor Lee Horne knows how difficult it is to leave prison with the clothes on your back and to feel like the world has turned its back on you. He served six years in prison for drug trafficking, and when he was released in 2009, he turned to religion to help him find salvation. Now, he is the senior pastor for the United Congregation of Yahweh in Milton and operates a ministry for men where they learn about the bible, trades, and skills.
