The accident occurred at the intersection of State Road 296 (W Michigan Avenue) and Clearwater Avenue. A 42-year-old female and 22-year-old male from Pensacola were also killed in the accident.
The 42-year-old female was driving a sedan and made a left turn onto W Michigan Avenue, directly in front of two motorcycles, according to the report from Florida Highway Patrol. The motorcycle driven by the 22-year-old hit the sedan’s left side, and the other motorcycle hit the sedan’s front left side.
The driver of the sedan was transported to Baptist Hospital, where she died. The motorcyclists were pronounced dead on scene.
