Pace senior Belle McNally said she was ‘trying not to cry’ as she talked about Amy Wolfenden, the former Patriot boys swim coach who passed away in May at the age of 50 while competing in a triathlon.
McNally met Wolfenden at a young age and couldn’t say enough good about how meaningful it was to see the Pace Patriot Invitational get rededicated as the Wolfenden Memorial Invitational on Sept. 28.
