Central’s nearly three-hour ride home from Wewahitchka Friday night wasn’t so bad considering the Jaguars were feeling good about how things went on the football field.


After nearly pulling out a win in its previous two games, Central finally broke through, winning 34-28 in a tightly contested battle against the Gators.

Jay and Central competed at the District 1-1A cross-country meet Monday in Port St. Joe.

Milton’s golf teams competed at the District 1-3A tournament last Monday at Stonebrook in Pace.

Playing in the District 1-3A golf tournament for the first time, the Pace junior not only played well, but he came away with medalist honors last Monday at Stonebrook.
