Friday night’s 27-20 Homecoming victory for Milton over West Florida Tech wasn’t pretty.


But it may have been the test the Panthers needed in their quest for a playoff spot.

Central’s football team had an opportunity for a victory Friday night on the road and took full advantage of it.


Winning for the first time in 2025, the Jaguars pounced on Vernon, notching a 51-8 victory.

After winning back-to-back District 1-6A championships last week, the Pace Patriots kept the momentum rolling in their favor, beating Pine Forest 34-12 Friday night in Pensacola.


The win is the seventh in a row for Pace, which improves to 7-1.

Jay’s football team extended its win streak to three games Friday night with a 13-6 victory over South Choctaw Academy at home.
