But here the Jaguars are, at the end of the regular season, riding the high of three consecutive wins, punctuating the run with a 14-12 win over Wewahitchka on the road on Halloween.

It was the annual “Battle of the Bronze” matchup between the Pace Patriots and Milton Panthers on Halloween, and players from both teams has their eyes set on the helmet-laden plaque.


To top that off, both teams had big postseason goals in mind.

Jay’s football team made its Homecoming game a memorable one, crushing Blacksher with a resounding 50-22 victory Friday night.


The Royals (6-4) end the regular-season on a five-game winning streak.

Gianna Dettling’s impressive freshman season continued on Monday at the District 1-3A tournament, and her score of 78 helped lead Pace to a regional tourney berth.

Pace’s boys golf team saw its streak of seven consecutive district championships end Monday afternoon.


But the Patriots are still going to the regional tournament, and in the end, that matters the most.
