For Christians around the world, Easter represents a time of renewal, and a time of remembrance of the death of Jesus and his resurrection. However you choose to celebrate Easter, whether it is in Church or in your backyard hunting for Easter eggs or both, we at Santa Rosa Press Gazette wish you a day of renewal. Consider it perhaps a transfiguration of sorts; a shedding of whatever is old and stale and an embrace of new things, habits and ideas. We can all use that in our life, no matter your belief.

The Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners is excited to offer the R.I.S.E – Readiness Internship for Skills and Experience program summer 2025, from Tuesday, June 10 to Friday, Aug. 1. The internship is open to all residents of Santa Rosa County aged between 16 and 20 years old. To qualify, students must be a resident of Santa Rosa County at the time of application and for the duration of program participation (proof of address is required).
