A string of RV fires in Milton has the city taking precautionary measures to ensure public safety.

Fire Chief John Reble spoke at the July 9 Milton City Council work session to address the recent concern over plugged-in RVs, and the five fires that have been result of RVs over the last year.

On July 1, Patrick Keen started working as the district threat management coordinator for Santa Rosa County District Schools. The coordinator position is a new, state-allocated position meant to help assess potential threats to schools, namely from students.
